Description

A pull-apart sweet bread dripping with buttery, cinnamon goodness that’s perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs. Add yeast mixture and combine.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt, stirring until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  6. When the dough has risen, tear it into small pieces, dip in melted butter, and roll in cinnamon-sugar. Layer in a greased bundt pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a plate. Serve warm.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, can be served with cream cheese icing or caramel sauce.
