Description

Deliciously baked doughnuts infused with earthy matcha flavors, perfect for breakfast or as an afternoon treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, matcha, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the doughnuts on a wire rack before serving.
