Description

Delight in fluffy, warm homemade donuts made in an air fryer, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil spray for air fryer
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Use a donut cutter or your hands to form the mixture into donut shapes.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Place the donuts in the basket and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove the donuts and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days. Reheat in the air fryer to restore fluffiness.
