- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, for serving
- Sliced cucumbers, for serving
- 1 cup cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, and chopped cilantro in a bowl. Mix well and form into burger patties.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the chicken patties in the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and golden brown.
- In another bowl, combine thinly sliced cabbage, julienned carrot, grated ginger, lime juice, and salt. Toss until well-mixed and set aside.
- Serve the chicken burgers on buns with fresh lettuce and slices of cucumber. Top each burger with a scoop of the prepared ginger slaw for extra flavor.
