Description
Juicy and flavorful turkey burgers perfect for summer grilling, offering a lighter alternative to traditional beef patties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings of choice
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, making sure the grates are clean and well-oiled for less sticking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use your hands or a spoon to mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form them into burger patties. Once your grill is hot, place the patties on it and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F and are fully cooked through.
- While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or two. Once everything is ready, assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings before serving.
Notes
Don’t overmix the ingredients to avoid tough burgers. Use lean ground turkey but ensure it’s not too lean to prevent dryness.
