A hearty and flavorful chili made with ground beef, beans, and a mix of spices, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 2 cans (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper, then add drained beans, tomatoes, and beef broth.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Notes

For added flavor, simmer for an hour or add jalapeños for spice. Experiment with different beans for unique flavors.
