- Wonton wrappers
- 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- Sour cream
- Salsa
- Olives (optional)
- Green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Press wonton wrappers into a mini muffin tin to form cups and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Cook ground beef (or turkey) over medium heat until browned, draining excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water as per packet instructions; simmer until thickened.
- Fill baked wonton cups with the meat mixture.
- Top with shredded cheese and return to oven for 2-3 minutes to melt.
- Let cool slightly, then top with lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.
- Garnish with olives and green onions if desired.
Notes
Store leftover cups in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
