- 1 cup rice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Fluff it with a fork once it’s done, and set it aside.
- Mix the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a bowl to create a sauce.
- Sauté the chicken pieces in olive oil over medium heat, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
- Combine the prepared sauce with the cooked chicken in the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring until coated and heated through.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the sriracha to your desired spice level.
