Description
An incredibly convenient and satisfying one-pan meal featuring tender beef, creamy sauce, and hearty egg noodles perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz egg noodles
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the meat is cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for a few minutes to meld the flavors.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions and drain them. Once the sauce is heated, reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix the cooked egg noodles into the skillet until everything is well combined. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, use a mix of mushrooms or substitute lean ground turkey or chicken for the beef. Adjust sour cream for creaminess.
