Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the beef chuck, diced onion, garlic, beef broth, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the egg noodles to the slow cooker. If using, stir in the frozen peas at this time. Cook until noodles are tender.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, sear the beef chunks before adding them to the slow cooker. You can also experiment with different vegetables.
