Description

A delightful and comforting dish combining tender rotisserie chicken, al dente pasta, and fresh broccoli in a garlicky olive oil sauce, finished with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 8 ounces pasta (like penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets in the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in the shredded rotisserie chicken, cooked pasta, and broccoli. Gently mix to combine.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Toss everything and cook for 2-3 additional minutes until heated through. Serve with Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

For more flavor, try adding fresh herbs like parsley or basil when serving. Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container and eaten within 3 days.
