Description

A nutritious and flavorful make-ahead breakfast combining oats, almond butter, and chia seeds.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Toppings: fresh fruit, nuts, or seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, almond butter, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into jars or containers with lids.
  3. Seal the containers and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours).
  4. Stir the oats in the morning and add your favorite toppings before serving.

Notes

These oats can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Use gluten-free oats for a gluten-free version.
