Description

A delightful and healthy snack that packs a punch of energy and flavor, perfect for a quick pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, protein powder, dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. You may need to use your hands to ensure it’s evenly mixed and sticky.
  3. Scoop out small portions of the mixture (about a tablespoon each) and roll them into balls.
  4. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.
  5. Store the finished protein balls in an airtight container in the fridge. They will keep fresh for about a week.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter or another nut/seed butter. You can add extras like chia seeds, flaxseeds, or dried fruit for additional flavor and nutrition.
