Delightful and zesty pickled banana peppers that add a burst of flavor to meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Banana peppers
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup White vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Dill

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Wash and slice the banana peppers into rings, optional to remove seeds for milder flavor.
  2. Mixing: In a medium pot, combine water, white vinegar, salt, and sugar. Boil while stirring until dissolved.
  3. Cooking: Add banana peppers, garlic, and dill to the mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Finishing: Pour the hot mixture into sterilized jars, seal tightly, and cool before refrigerating. Allow to sit in the fridge for at least 24 hours for best flavor.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for 2-3 months. Ensure peppers are submerged in the pickling liquid.
