Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
