- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, peanut butter, and egg. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently. Pat it into a circle about 1 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into wedges and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the scones are lightly golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
