Description

The ultimate comfort food that combines the iconic flavors of a cheeseburger in a simple, hearty pasta dish. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: pickles and tomatoes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by browning the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Cook until the meat is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot with the ground beef. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent.
  3. Stir in the pasta, beef broth, milk, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Let simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

Notes

For a healthier option, swap half of the ground beef for ground turkey or chicken. Add veggies for extra nutrition, or make it spicy with hot sauce. Adjust thickness by varying broth amount.
