Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Gather your frozen berries and peel the ripe banana. If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can slice the banana and freeze it ahead of time, though a fresh banana works perfectly for creaminess.
- Add the liquid ingredients to the blender first (milk and vanilla extract), followed by the yogurt, honey, and finally the frozen fruit. Placing the liquids at the bottom helps the blender blades move more freely.
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed for about 45 to 60 seconds. Continue blending until the mixture is completely smooth and no large chunks of frozen fruit remain.
- Taste the smoothie to check the sweetness. If it is too thick, add a splash more milk; if it is too thin, add a few more frozen berries. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
