Description

A healthy and inviting alternative to traditional sushi using fresh vegetables and seafood, wrapped in nori sheets.


Ingredients

  • Cucumber
  • Crab meat or cooked shrimp
  • Cream cheese
  • Avocado
  • Nori sheets
  • Soy sauce for dipping
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumber into long, thin strips.
  2. Lay a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat, rough side up.
  3. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the nori.
  4. Place the cucumber strips, crab meat or shrimp, and avocado slices on top of the cream cheese.
  5. Roll the nori tightly using the bamboo mat.
  6. Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Serve with soy sauce for dipping.

Notes

These rolls are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
