- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté broccoli florets for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- In a bowl, combine sautéed broccoli, shredded cheese, cream cheese, and seasoning. Mix well.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 4 squares.
- Place a spoonful of the broccoli and cheese mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold over the pastry to create a pocket and seal the edges tightly.
- Brush each pastry with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow pastries to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a dipping sauce like ranch or garlic aioli. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
