- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a tart pan and bake for 10 minutes, then set it aside to cool.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar and heavy cream, bring to a boil, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt. Fold in the chopped pecans until coated.
- Pour the pecan caramel filling into the cooled pie crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set. Allow to cool completely before serving.
