Ingredients

- 1 package of puff pastry
- 2 cups mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add the finely chopped mushrooms and cook until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and mix in cream cheese and Parmesan until creamy.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares for mini muffin tin.
- Place pastry squares in muffin tin, pressing down to form cups.
- Fill each cup with the mushroom mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
These tarts are best served warm but can also be enjoyed at room temperature. For best results, reheat in the oven.
