Description
Delightful chicken bites balanced with sweet and spicy flavors, perfect as a quick dinner or appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by preparing your chicken. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, making sure each piece is well coated. Cover the bowl or transfer to a resealable bag, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken to the skillet, discarding any leftover marinade. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze has thickened and caramelized.
- Serve hot from the skillet, garnishing with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for added color and flavor!
Notes
Consider adding lime juice for a zesty twist or swapping chicken for tofu for a vegetarian version.
