Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: nuts, seeds, or dried fruit

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, milk, and a pinch of salt. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once the mixture reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low. Stir in the pumpkin puree, protein powder, pumpkin pie spice, and maple syrup.
  3. Allow the mixture to cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. After removing it from the heat, serve your oatmeal warm and top as desired.
