- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dill
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, and dill in a bowl until well combined.
- Serve the meatballs warm with the tzatziki sauce on the side.
Notes
These meatballs go well with warm pita bread or fresh greens. Store leftovers in airtight containers.
