Ingredients

- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar or sweetener of choice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or butter
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with the water and half of the cinnamon. Mix well and spread the apple mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the oats, protein powder, almond flour, brown sugar, the remaining cinnamon, and the nuts if you’re using them. Make sure all the dry ingredients are well incorporated.
- Pour the melted coconut oil over the oat mixture and stir until everything is combined. Spread this delicious oat topping evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the topping is golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
Serve warm with yogurt or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
