Description

A vibrant stir-fry with tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for a quick and nutritious meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir-fry the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over everything. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the Healthy Beef and Broccoli hot over a bed of cooked rice.

Notes

For added flavor, garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions. This dish can also be customized with different vegetables.
