Ingredients

- 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir-fry the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over everything. Stir until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Healthy Beef and Broccoli hot over a bed of cooked rice.
Notes
For added flavor, garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions. This dish can also be customized with different vegetables.
