Description

Delicious grilled shrimp skewers marinated in a sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy honey-lime mixture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Mix honey, lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Let them sit for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
  4. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning. Do not marinate shrimp for more than 30 minutes as the lime can begin to cook them.
