Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
  • 4 burger buns
  • Toppings: Lettuce, tomato, red onion, and extra ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients and placing the ground chicken in a large mixing bowl. If your chicken is very cold, it will be easier to handle. Slice your green onions finely and set them aside.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, ranch seasoning, panko breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper to the bowl with the chicken. Use your hands or a spatula to gently mix everything together until just combined. Be careful not to overwork the meat, as this can make the burgers tough.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty about 3/4-inch thick. If the mixture feels a bit sticky, you can lightly dampen your hands with water to make the shaping process easier.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the patties. Cook for about 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The outside should be golden brown and slightly crispy.
  5. While the burgers rest for a minute, lightly toast your burger buns in the same pan. Place a chicken patty on each bun and load them up with your favorite toppings like crisp lettuce, juicy tomato slices, and an extra drizzle of ranch dressing.
