Description

A delightful twist on classic bread that combines the wholesome goodness of oats with creamy Greek yogurt, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or almonds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, milk, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix rolled oats, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined, and fold in nuts if using.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temperature or freeze for longer storage. Use full-fat yogurt for richer taste.
