- 1 block firm tofu
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into cubes.
- Toss the tofu cubes with soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Spread the tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Steam the broccoli until tender.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, add steamed broccoli, and sauté for a few minutes.
- Combine the crispy tofu and broccoli in the skillet.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or on the stove for the best texture.
