- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned.
- Add the minced garlic to the pot and sauté for an additional minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the orzo pasta and broccoli florets. Cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Serve warm.
Notes
To store leftovers, let cool, then transfer to an airtight container. Will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
