Description

A delightful cheesecake that combines the rich creaminess of classic cheesecake with the bright, tangy flavor of fresh cranberries and orange zest.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • Zest of one orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Beat together sugar and cream cheese until smooth, then add vanilla and eggs, mixing well.
  4. Add sour cream, cranberries, orange juice, and zest, mixing until combined.
  5. Pour filling over the crust and bake for 50-60 minutes, until the center is set.
  6. Cool at room temperature for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
