Description
A delightful dessert balancing tartness and sweetness with vibrant cranberries and creamy custard.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out your pie crust into a pie dish, ensuring it fits snugly, and trim any excess dough hanging over the edges.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the fresh cranberries and sugar. Stir well to ensure the cranberries are coated in the sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, flour, salt, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sugar-coated cranberries in the pie crust. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden. Let it cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
