Description

A delightful twist on traditional cookies, blending creamy cottage cheese with sweet cookie dough for a soft, chewy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the cottage cheese, softened butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider browning the butter before mixing. Store leftover cookies in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
