- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup melted butter
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla, mixing until fluffy.
- Pour cheesecake mixture over the crust and bake for 40-45 minutes until set.
- Cool completely, then spread cherry pie filling on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Bars can be refrigerated for up to 4-5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Ensure cream cheese is soft for a smooth batter.
