- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup holiday-themed M&M’s (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, folding gently until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and M&M’s (if using).
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
