Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and honey (or maple syrup).
  3. Add baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, and mix until well combined.
  4. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
  5. Spoon the cookie mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
