Description

A delightful and festive appetizer shaped like a Christmas tree, filled with gooey cheese and perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly flour a surface to roll out the pizza dough.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a large triangle, aiming for about a 12-inch size.
  3. Cut the dough into a Christmas tree shape and reserve scraps for decorations. On one half of the dough, place the mozzarella cheese, followed by Parmesan and parsley.
  4. Fold the dough over the cheese and seal the edges tightly. Use the reserved scraps to create decorative elements on top.
  5. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  6. Remove from the oven and brush with olive oil to add sheen. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
