Description
A deliciously rich cheesecake combining creamy cheesecake, tart apples, and sweet caramel, perfect for fall celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- Whipped cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create a crust.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract, then the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Gently fold in the sliced apples and cinnamon, then pour this over the prepared crust. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Let the cheesecake cool completely on a wire rack and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure your cream cheese and eggs are at room temperature before mixing. Let the cheesecake cool gradually to avoid cracks.
