Delicious hybrids of brownies and cookies that deliver the best of both worlds in every bite.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; stir to blend.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until creamy, then add egg and mix until incorporated.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir just until combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly into the greased baking pan.
- Place scoops of cookie dough generously on top of the brownie batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean with a little chocolate residue.
- Let cool, transfer to a cutting board, and cut into squares.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce.
