Description

Delightful breakfast biscuits packed with protein to kickstart your day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup of protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil or butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Optional: chocolate chips or nuts for added flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey (or maple syrup), milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
  6. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming biscuits.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
