Description

A healthier twist on the iconic Big Mac, with crispy lettuce, seasoned beef, tangy pickles, and creamy dressing in a colorful bowl.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, dill pickle slices, and the cooked beef mixture.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the salad.
  4. Drizzle the Thousand Island dressing over the top and toss everything together gently to coat. Serve immediately!

Notes

For added flavor, use lean ground beef or ground turkey. Feel free to substitute Thousand Island dressing with ranch or Caesar dressing.
