Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Peel and slice your ripe pears.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced pears, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Toss gently until coated.
  3. In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt. Stir until crumbly. Fold in walnuts if using.
