Indulgent yet nutritious brownie bites made with ripe avocado, packed with plant-based protein and healthy fats.
Ingredients

- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Mash the ripe avocado until smooth in a mixing bowl.
- Add the maple syrup (or honey), almond milk, and vanilla extract to the mashed avocado, and mix until combined.
- Whisk together the almond flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until you have a thick, smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
Notes
For added richness, drizzle melted dark chocolate on top or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
