Description

Delicious apple pie protein bars are packed with oats, apples, and protein powder, making them a nutritious treat perfect for any time of day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup chopped apples
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, protein powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine apple sauce, almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples gently into the combined mixture.
