A delicious and healthier twist on classic Chinese orange chicken, crispy and coated in a sweet and tangy sauce.

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, minced ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C). Coat chicken evenly with cornstarch and place in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Once cooked, toss the chicken with the remaining marinade in a pan over medium heat until heated through. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Pairs well with steamed rice or quinoa. Can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
