Description

A delightful and healthy twist on traditional stuffing, featuring earthy mushrooms and sweet chestnuts. Perfect for holidays or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup cooked and chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup cooked chestnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, chopped mushrooms, chopped chestnuts, onion, garlic, parsley, thyme, and rosemary.
  2. Gradually add the vegetable broth until the mixture is moist but not soggy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls about the size of a golf ball. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  4. Place the stuffing balls in the basket in a single layer and spray the tops with olive oil. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute bread crumbs with gluten-free alternatives. Try different herbs or add cheese for variations.
