Description

Delight your taste buds with the rich, gooey goodness of Air Fryer Lava Cakes, perfect for any chocolate lover.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together until smooth. Stir in the powdered sugar until fully combined.
  3. Add the eggs and egg yolks to the chocolate mixture, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in the flour and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  5. Grease ramekins with a little butter or non-stick spray, then divide the batter among them, filling each about 2/3 full.
  6. Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  7. Allow the cakes to cool for a minute, then carefully invert the ramekins onto plates and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, and fresh berries for a refreshing contrast. For a festive touch, sprinkle powdered sugar on top just before serving.
