- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar, bringing to a boil.
- Once boiling, add the fresh cranberries to the pot and stir gently.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the cinnamon and salt, remove from heat, and cool before serving.
